WE ARE The Valdera (the Era Valley) is
a beautiful area in the heart of Tuscany next to Pisa, near sea
and important Tuscan art cities, which harbours an array of ancient
churches, exquisitely renovated medieval villages,
castles, villas adorned with frescoes and coats
of arms and Etruscan archaeological sites. The
landscape of gentle rolling hills, cypress trees
and arable land, lushly green in Springtime, golden in the Summer
provide an abundance of walking, bike and horse trails.
Moreover, the Valdera
offers a wide range of cultural events and theatre performances, street markets
and food and wine fairs all year. GIUSEPPE'S The
Farm House The charming Agritourism of Giuseppe is
located in Tuscany and precisely in the Valdera Park, along the “Route of
the Wines of Pisa Hills”, between Pisa and Volterra. It is placed on the
top of the hill, overlooking the Era valley, in the council of Terricciola classified
“Citta’ del Vino”, city of wine. The main
building that lodges the Agritourism, is a perfect example of the 17th century
Tuscan rural construction and it has been renovated, maintaining all the original
characters. The owners, the family Cantoni, live there and
the whole family is busy with the wine and olive oil production, beside taking
care of their guests. Facilities The
farm house offers accommodation in refined apartments and rooms. The guests can
relax at the large and well-equipped swimming pool and on the panoramic terrace
or go for long walks among olive trees, orchards and vineyards. A barbecue is
available for pleasant outdoor evenings in the fresh air. Breakfast is served
in the elegant dining room, where also special dinners, weddings and other ceremonies
can be organized. Accommodation Giuseppe's
resort, has seven accommodation units that range from two to seven beds fully
equipped with a typical rural Tuscany style, wooden beam ceiling and cotto floor.
ALESSANDRO'S The
Farm House Alessandro's is a large estate made of
three typical Tuscan stone buildings and is located in the Tuscan countryside
between the Etruscan city of Volterra and Pisa, the city of the Leaning Tower.
Dating back to the 18th century, the estate originally belonged to the noble Florentine
family “Pitti”. At present the guests can feel a familiar atmosphere
thanks to the warm welcome of the owner Alessandro and his staff. With
over 2.000 olive trees the farm still produces excellent extra virgin olive oil
and the owner still uses traditional and organic methods of cultivation and harvesting.
Facilities Comfortable
apartments and rooms, a large swimming pool, a stone barbecue, a children playground,
a vast and well kept garden, a veranda where to listen to music or read a book
are among the facilities available for the guests to relax. The
farm house organizes dinners in the tiny and familiar restaurant where breakfast
is also served. The park all around is ideal also for weddings and ceremonies. Accommodation Alessandro's
resort offers accommodation in several apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms, each lodging
between 2 and 6 people, and also large double rooms with en-suite bathroom. In
All apartments and rooms are furnished in the typical Tuscan rural style, wooden
beam ceiling and cotto floor. Giuseppe's and Alessandro's
